1. The Book Thief for today 430....for tomorrow: 451.............2. The Report: due tomorrow (but "shooting for Monday").................IN that report: a. title page b. table of contents c. the report which includes the information (not plagiarized), subheadings (as indicated in table of contents), images/graphs/maps etc and d. a bibliography.

Dec 3 class in library
1. Reminder: shared news story for tomorrow (see yesterday's instructions)............2. The Book Thief: read to the end of 293 - quiz to that point tomorrow............3. The research report...continue researching....outline due Monday (see example...from pgs 49-50 of on your own))...finished copy must include a title page, a table of contents, headings and subheadings, hopefully images, graphs, charts etc and a bibliography. The actual report itself 1-5 pages....and avoid plagiarism!

today: 1. The Book Thief..read from pages 238-266 (book will be finished within two weeks)......2. Reminder: find a news story that you can connect with the novel. copy the url of the story into a google document and share it with me (tv30266)......3. 1. Plays and Much Ado stuff....prepare, watch and then complete a paragraph on one of the following: a). What does your character want in the scene chosen by your group? or b). What is standing in his or her way?.................paragraph form ( a minimum of five sentences with an introduction and and a conclusion.).....printed out and stapled to other "presentation" page, shared on google docs and a copy placed in appropriate hand-in folder.......................then...your research topic....on the index card, 10 different facts about the topic..handed in (name on back of card).....then blogfs or read (128-170 for Monday)

#22 a research report topic
one of the things we will be doing from The Book Thief will be to produce a research report on one interesting topic arising from the events of the book. You will researching and finding out more information about the particular topic and organizing that info in report form. Obviously more info on that to follow. Examples of suitable topics might be book burning or The Battle of Stalingrad or Dachau. Identify one topic of your own which might be suitable for a research report and explain in three sentences which you chose that one.

Much Ado About Nothing cloze activity
